A hospitality education does not take place solely in the classroom. The practical internships that students undertake as part of their degree programmes at IMI are just as important to their all-round training!

In this video, we take a ride with IMI's Internship Manager Simon Portmann as he visits students Milan and Diksha who are doing their industry placements at Rennaissance Hotel in Zurich.

We were also delighted to bump into alumna Caroline who now works full-time at the hotel as a pastry chef following her own placement during her studies.

The internship visits we make in Switzerland are another example of the personal care and attention given to each student to ensure their success both academically and in the industry!
