From his take on AI's limits to his case against rigid five-year plans, Akshay challenged the Class of 2026 to think differently about what success actually looks like—and how to build a life around their values, not just their ambitions. His key lessons for the Class of 2026: 1) Own the outcome: Aim for the top 1% of responsibility. The most valuable person in any room is the one who never says "that's not my job." 2) Design your life, not a plan: Instead of locking into a five-year roadmap, ask what kind of life you're trying to build — then make choices that move you toward it. 3) Maximize the surface area for luck: Go to the event, ask the question, reach out for the coffee. Luck isn't entirely outside your control.
