Cambridge Judge Business School and Bain & Company have joined forces through Bain's Stratos Initiative, a global leadership platform for the most senior executives in financial services. This partnership brings together Bain's industry expertise and Cambridge Judge's academic scholarship to support women CEOs and senior leaders navigating an era of geopolitical uncertainty and rapid technological change. Following the inaugural Stratos Global Executive Symposium in April 2026, which convened over 50 financial services CEOs at Cambridge Judge, the partnership has produced a new whitepaper: Power, Capital and Governance: Leadership in a Fragmented World. Launched at the Stratos India Forum in Mumbai, the report argues that financial markets have moved beyond cyclical volatility into a permanent condition of structural complexity - driven by a changing global order, the repricing of capital, AI and digital transformation, disinformation, and eroding institutional trust. The whitepaper sets out three leadership imperatives for this new landscape: governing the invisible risks created by opaque systems like AI and private credit; repositioning institutions for a multipolar world; and amplifying the human judgement that no algorithm can replace.
